Field Trip: Forest Restoration Study Site Visit (at Longwood Gardens)

Description: This will be a walking tour of an experimental forest restoration project being conducted by the Longwood Gardens Land Stewardship and Ecology Group. The tour will be hosted by a Research Specialist responsible for design and implementation of the study. The information shared is intended to give Engineers, Architects, Land Planners and Regulators a better understanding of the benefits and basic components of ecosystem restoration.
Location? The CCE Parking & Meeting Location is indicated on the map below (click image to enlarge). This is about 0.4 mi East from street address 402 East Street Road (Rt 926), Kennett Square, PA off of Red Lion Row (Google Map Directions). We will be walking from the parking area to the study area so everyone should wear appropriate shoes.
Attendees will earn one (1) PDH.
